Finding the Creator through Facts, Logic, Knowledge, and Reason (FLKR)
We are interested in learning about the Creator of the universe, of humankind, and establishing a spiritual ideology based on what can be known -- not what someone wants us to believe. We're driven to our conclusions by following these four fundamental guidelines we refer to as FLKR (pronounced flicker):
Fact: That which is proven, demonstrable, or necessarily true based on reliable evidence, observation, or valid reasoning. A fact remains a fact even if disputed without proof. Facts define what can be honestly claimed as true, and they separate knowledge from belief.
Logic: A structured framework for testing whether conclusions follow validly from facts, assumptions, and knowledge. Logic helps separate sound conclusions from contradiction, fallacy, and wishful thinking.
Knowledge: The body of facts, information, experience, and understanding a person or community has acquired. Knowledge gives context to facts and supplies the material that logic can examine.
Reason: The mind’s ability to think, interpret, compare, question, and form judgments using facts, logic, and knowledge. Reason is the human act of applying what we know in an orderly and rational way.
It is these guidelines that provide us with what we know and what we believe, not Revelation -- the divine or supernatural disclosure to humans of something relating to human existence. FLKR represents the light we use to examine belief: Facts provide the foundation, Logic tests the path, Knowledge gives context, and Reason forms the judgment.

The Fundamental Deist Ideology
Our whole belief system emerges from one extraordinarily simple principle -- the fundamental fact that nobody on Earth "knows" if there is a God. God's existence cannot be proven or disproven and therefore, it is impossible for anyone to know God's mind, know what God wants of you, or know God's plan. So, everything that is written or said about what God wants or thinks is made up by humankind and not based on either fact or truth.
Many religions claim they know the truth and their doctrine based on facts. But facts cannot be manufactured simply from strong beliefs. Facts cannot be disputed, yet every religion is disputed by another. If one religion were based on fact, there would be no reason for any other religion to exist. Yet there are so many, wildly different, religions claiming they are the only one that knows the answer.
Fundamental Deist Core Principles
A "Principle" is a fact or basic generalization that is accepted as true, honored by a group, and is used as a basis for reasoning or conduct. Here are our Core Principles. For additional information on each of these principles, click the [Learn More] button below.
Core Principle Facts
The existence of God, as are God's will and purpose, is unknowable and cannot be proven or disproven.
Therefore, everything written about God's plan, his will, what he wants from you was written by man and not based on fact or truth.
A Creator exists; divine deity, intergalactic manufacturer, or an accidental quantum fluctuation, no one knows what.
The intricate interplay between those fundamental forces orchestrated the creation of the universe and everything in it.
Our "Beliefs" based on facts, Knowledge, logic, and reasoning
Nonetheless, the fact that science does not have knowledge of how any of these four forces were created is perhaps the most logically compelling rationale for believing those forces were crafted by the hand of some unknown ethereal source-- God could exist.
Pretend we could wipe the mind of humankind and destroy all the books on mathematics, physics, science, and religion. In some amount of time, the books on mathematics, physics, and science would be recreated just as they are today. Those on religion would be vastly different because they were not based on fact but stories made up over centuries. So, believe in God or don't -- Nobody knows one way or the other so, your choice but just remember, whatever you choose to believe is exactly that -- a belief and not a fact. That is true for us as well.

This website will barely touch the surface of certain complex subjects; Cosmology, Physiology, Physics, Quantum Mechanics that even today's scientists don't completely understand. Our intent is to present an overview of the relevant aspects of these topics and then provide suggested search topics so you can explore them to your level of interest and satisfaction.
